Like any other school, our extracurricular activities are not possible without the help of volunteers. If you have time and would like to lend a hand, here are some of the events looking for help.
BOKS: This is a morning wake up program that runs from 7:50-8:20 (30 min) during the school week. Students arrive early to participate in activities with a group leader to energize them for the school day. There are a number of resources and training opportunities available for volunteers in order to ensure you are ready to roll. The duration of this program depends heavily on the number of volunteers. The goal would be to have the program every morning of the week for up to 30 students each day.
Track and Field: This is one of the largest events of the school year. Our school participates in a school selection meet in May and then the top qualifiers move on to the district finals in June. To properly run a school meet requires upwards of 10-15 volunteers outside of school staff. The district finals also requires 5-6 volunteers as very few staff are able to support during that teaching day.
Year End K-2 Play Day: This is a big event for our littles as well as our Grade 5 Students. Our senior classes are in charge of planning and running the event but require adults to support and supervise our events. 5 Volunteers makes for a wonderful day!
If you are interested in any of these events. Please reach out to the school or to Mrs. O'Keefe directly!
We would so appreciate the help!
